The Barracuda Compute 3.5-inch hard drive lineup is truly expansive with capacities up to 5TB in two 7mm and 15mm sizes, compatible with a variety of computing applications. The drive features fast data transfer rates of up to 256MB/s, for optimal user comfort and more responsive transfers.
The 15mm thick 3.5″ drives provide capacities ranging from 3TB to 5TB, the highest capacity 3.5″ hard drives on the market for external or all-in-one storage solutions.
PROVEN RELIABILITY
The 15mm thickness allows for thinner all-in-one desktop designs and helps reduce heat generation and vibration. Thanks to their low start-up current, the 3TB to 5TB drives can be used in existing low-power systems, such as external USB 2 enclosures, and at the same time help reduce power consumption. The 5TB drives can store over 1.25 million songs and 600 hours of HD video.
